Step 1: Fill Application Form
  • At this stage, the candidates fill application forms for admission to different UG programmes offered by various colleges accepting GUJCET scores. The form was available online on the official website.

  • To apply for GUJCET 2020, aspirants required to login to the official website and click on "Apply online for GUJCET and fill up the form online.
  • The application fee of Rs.300 can be paid through DD. The same can be submitted at designated help centres to obtain the USER ID.
  • Aspirants who reside outside Gujarat and have completed their 10+2 examination from outside the state should submit the printout of the filled application form at the address mentioned below:

List of documents to be submitted:
  • Class 10 and Class 12 certificates
  • Category certificate
  • School leaving certificate
While filling up the form a candidate has to select the preferred venue. After submission of the form, the online generated hall ticket is sent to the registered email ID of the candidate.
Step 2: Download GUJCET 2020 Admit Card
The candidates can obtain and download the GUJCET admit card from the official website. It's recommended to verify the details given on the admit card. In case of any error, contact the GUJCET Cell immediately for the same and get clarification/corrections made.
Step 3: Appear for GUJCET 2020 Entrance Test
GUJCET 2020 new exam date is announced. The exam will be conducted on August 24. Aspirants are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before commencement of the exam.
Step 4: Check GUJCET 2020 Exam Result
The University would be declaring the GUJCET result on their official website. The candidates can check their GUJCET 2020 results by simply submitting their application number and date of birth on the official website.
Step 5: Class Commencement 
The university/institute will commence with the new academic session soon after the result is announced by the conducting authority.

Q. What is the age limit criteria for GUJCET?
A. The age of an applicant should be 17 years or more. Therefore, if a candidate’s age is less than 17 years then he/she should not apply for the exam.
Q. What is the minimum educational qualification to apply for the examination?
A. A candidate should have passed Class 12 in PCM/PCB or any equivalent examination with a minimum score of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
Q. What is the reservation policy of GUJCET?
A. Defence Personnel and Ex-Servicemen – 1%, PWD – 5%, SC – 7%, ST – 15%, Unreserved EWS – 10%, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, including widows and orphan of any caste – 27%.
Q. What is the mode of the entrance examination?
A. The exam will take place in offline mode i.e. Pen and Paper based test.
Q. Is a foreign candidate is eligible for filling the application form?
A. No. Only Indian National candidates can apply for the exam.
Q. Can a candidate use a calculator while taking the GCET exam?
A. Yes, candidates can carry a simple calculator with them inside the examination hall. Do not carry the scientific calculator, it is not allowed in the examination.
Q. What is the eligibility criteria to sit for the GUJCET exam?
A. An Indian citizen whose age is not less than 17 years and qualified Class 12 with 45% (40% for reserved category) with PCM/PCB as main subjects can apply.
Q. Is domicile necessary for appearing in GUJCET?
A. No, domicile is not necessary to sit for the exam. However, candidates who want to claim seat reservation should have to show the required certificates.
Q. What is the ACPC?
A. ACPC is Admission Committee for Professional Courses responsible for conducting BTech/BE counselling in Gujarat.
Q. How ACPC merit is calculated?
A. ACPC merit is calculated by taking 40% of the GUJCET marks and 60% of the marks obtained in Class 12 final examination. The formula to calculate the merit marks is (0.4A) + (0.6B) which is out of 100.
Q. Who conducts the GUJCET exam?
A. Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conducts the examination.
Q. Is there any provision of application correction to modify the details?
A. No, GSEB does not provide the application correction facility.
