Soups to help sleep easily

Pork Apple Lily Bulb Soup

Benefits - Soothes Coughs Clears Phlegmy & Ease Sore Throats And Increases Focus & Calms The Body.

Ingredients

  • 300g smoked pork bones – wash & rinsed nicely
  • 3 red apples – wash, core removed, cut into three cm pcs
  • 2 brown onions – skin removed, wash, cut into three cm pcs
  • 15g dried lily bulb – rinse in the water
  • 4 dried honey dates – rinse in the water
  • 2.5 litres a water
  • Salt to a taste


Process

Place every ingredients (except salt) into big pot. Cook for thirty minutes and simmer for 2-3 hours. Remove excess oil then add a salt to taste.

Pork Lotus Seeds Red Beans Soup

Ingredients

  • 6 pcs pork bones – blanched & rinsed nicely 
  • 15g dried lotus seeds – wash & rinse nicely 
  • 80g red adzuki beans – wash & rinse nicely 
  • 200g lotus root – peel, cut & wash (frozen is good)
  • 20g walnuts – wash & rinse nicely 
  • 2 litres a water
  • Salt to a taste


Process

Place every ingredients (except salt) into pressure cooker. Cook for 50 minutes, natural release for fifteen minutes, remove excess oil then add salt to taste.

  • 20g dried lily bulbs – wash & drain well
  • 1 c water chestnuts – wash & drain well 
  • 4 carrots – wash, peel & cut into a chunks
  • 1T goji berries – wash & drained well
  • 1/2 c a shiitake mushroom stalks
  • 3 litres  the water
  • Salt to a taste

Process

  • 4 pears – wash, peeled properly  & core removed
  • 10g dry lily bulb – washed & drain nicely 
  • 3 litres a water
  • Salt to a taste

Process
