3 Banana Face Packs for All Skin kinds & Skin Concerns

1. For Oily Skin

All you want – Ripe banana, cucumber and papaya.

This revitalizing mask combines the goodness of cucumber and papaya with our nice ol’ bananas to nurture oily skin. Papaya supports decrease pigmentation; cucumber hydrates and soothes inflammation caused by excessive sebum production and banana softens and feeds anti-oxidants to a dull and dehydrated skin.

How to create the pack –

  • a Blend 1/4th papaya, 1/4th peeled cucumber and half a peeled banana together in a blender to form a smooth paste.

  • Apply this all over your face, neck and decolletage and let it a sit for 15-20 minutes.

  • a Rinse with lukewarm water.

2. For Pimples, Acne And Blemishes

All you want – Banana with the peel, Neem and Turmeric.

While bananas don’t have the similar pimple-fighting abilities as benzoyl peroxide, tea tree oil or salicylic acid, they’re believed to support acne by reducing inflammation in the skin because of o their Vitamin A contents. Phenolics in bananas may even contain anti-microbials that help treat acne lesions.

With all this, neem and turmeric have an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties that are tremendously effective in curing acne and blemishes. This face mask supports fight pimples and reduces acne scars and blemishes.

How to create the pack –

  • Mash half a ripe banana with its peel and add one tsp of smooth neem paste (take a handful of neem leaves and churn it in the blender to form the paste) and ½ tsp of turmeric (the superfood). Mix all the ingredients good to form an even paste.

  • Apply it a all over your face and neck. Then wait for the pack to work its magic!

All you want– Banana and Honey

The easiest pack of them all requires just 2 ingredients to fight this specific skin worry.

As we’ve discovered that bananas are a wealthy source of potassium and vitamin A which work together to moisturize and hydrate dry, dull-looking skin. They even contain Vitamin E which saves your skin from free radicals and moisturize to also out skin tone. Adding just a some drops of honey to bananas supports retain that moisture that’s lost because of  external environmental factors like  weather, pollution, etc.

How to create the pack –

  • Mash half a banana with a fork and add 1 tablespoon of a honey to this mix.

  • Mix it good and then apply this mixture to your face and neck.

  • Disclaimer: The purer the honey, a better.

  • Let it sit on your face for fifteen  mins or longer depending on how dry your skin feels at the moment.

  • a Rinse it off with lukewarm to cold water.
